Can you imagine next Prime Minister of India, Mr.Young-Talented-Restless, next Chairman of Microsoft Corporation, Ms. Young-Charming, next CEO of Infosys Technologies Mr.Gen X, next Managing Director of IBM Corporation Ms.Gen X” and so on…….What will be your reaction? What will be the reaction of new generation? How society in general will react? What will be the future implication of such development? How relation between old and young will reshape?

Global IT major Infosys has already announced their highly ambitious corporate restructuring programme where youngsters are the prime focus. Many other corporate houses are in the waiting list and gearing up for dramatic restructuring. Focus is very much clear, encourage Gen.X for higher and critical responsibilities. While there are many good candidates for Prime Ministership, some names are-

Mayawati, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has now set her eyes on Delhi.Addressing a massive rally two days ago, she spelt her intention in no uncertain terms.Considering the strained relationship between the Left parties and the Congress, she has started fine tuning her strategy .In her first salvo she has threatened to pull out from the United Progressive Alliance if her demand for a special package for U.P worth 80,000 crores is not met immediately.
As per a survey conducted by NDTV ,just a few days ago,Mayawati would grab more than 40 Parliamentary seats if the elections are held due to the withdrawal of Left’s support to the present United progressive Alliance Government.Mayawati would be emboldened to know that no party would be able to form the government without her support, considering the present political alignment. She seems to be aware of this and is gearing up to exploit the situation to her advantage.A few years ago it would have been labeled as her hallucination to be the Prime Minister of India, but not now, considering the state of affairs of the National Parties. It is altogether a different matter how her ascendancy will affect India’s march towards prosperity and its rightful place among the developed nations of the world.
Mayawati is also tryng to replicate her success formula in other states .She has started to woo Brahmin’s in Maharashtra.Next on the list are minorities, especially muslims.Considering the disarray in the Samajwadi Party, she his hopeful of making a dent in that community too.She has given the Central Government the ultimatum to implement reservation in Private sector. So,she hopes to benefit from on that account as well.According to NDTV survey, the Rashtriya Janta Dal of Lalu Prashad Yadav would be wiped out from Bihar this time;So will be the Lok Jan Shakti of Ram Vilas Paswan. That survey also indicates that Narendra Modi would improve upon his tally. But in the all India scenario, Congress would emerge as the biggest beneficiary but it can’t cross the 225 mark .So the support of Mayawati would be crucial to form the government.
The position of Left in Kerala is very precarious and it will loose there heavily .The same can happen in West Bengal too,if Mamta Banerjee joins hands with Congress.Bhartiya Janta Party will be sidelined ,even though it is “nearly” supporting the Nuclear Deal now.The supporters of BJP are dismayed over its double-speak and the way it has dithered to support the Indo-US Nuclear deal which is very important for the country. It will suffer most because its voters are relatively literate and aware of the International affairs.Kapil Sibbal, the Science and Environment minister very aptly described that the “BJP has kissed death”.
These political developments do not auger well for India as everybody knows how these regional leaders have conducted themselves in the past. They have grabbed their position by promising the most downtrodden segments of our society a better future. While they have managed to amass unbelievable fortune for themselves, the masses remain in perpetual poverty.Perhaps politicians like Mayawati would like to maintain their status quo, forever.
Lalu Prasad Yadav, Possibly India's Next Prime MinisterPolitics
For the past four and a half years, India has had a classy, educated, honest Prime Minister in Manmohan Singh. He’s often been criticized for not seeming forceful enough, but he did score a major success against both left and right in the nuclear deal and subsequent vote of no-confidence, and will probably join a relatively small number of Indian PMs in finishing out a complete five-year term. (Quick quiz: how many have there been?)
One person who is being talked about as a viable candidate for India’s next Prime Minister couldn’t be more different — Lalu Prasad Yadav. Yadav is the ex-Chief Minister of Bihar, where he rose to power in the “Mandal era” by mobilizing what are referred to as backward caste voting blocs in the state. Once in power, Yadav became nationally notorious as a rampantly corrupt figure, who embezzled at least $267 million in the “Fodder Scam”. He was eventually forced out of office, but was able to continue effectively running the state after he installed his wife, Rabri Devi, as Chief Minister in his stead. Starting in the late 1990s, Lalu Prasad Yadav became the punchline of many Indian jokes; even saying his name in some circles leads people to start smiling, in expectation of the joke to follow. (Another quiz: what are the names of his nine children?)

WHO WILL form the next government at the Centre? And if the elections to the Lok Sabha are held in the month of December, 2008 and not in February, 2009, will it give any edge to the opposition (Bharatiya Janata Party) to form the government? Will it be the issue of nuclear deal for the Congress led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) to boast off or will the demon of inflation haunt the UPA leaders in the coming general elections, which will certainly provide an extra advantage to the BJP leaders in garnering political support in their favour. And if we consider the anti-incumbency factor then it seems the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would reach to the corridors of power in the next Parliamentary elections.
One thing, which came out loud and clear in recent times is that no political party is interested in holding an early elections and all the opportunistic allies of the Congress too, want this government to complete its term and thus despite a tug of war going on over the Nuke deal between the Left and the Congress, the Left is not able to muster enough courage to withdraw support from the UPA government. It clearly shows that there is immense pressure on the Left [Communist Party of India (CPIM)] from its cadres present in West Bengal who have witnessed loss of their political seats in the recently concluded panchayat elections in the state where candidates of Trinamool Congress of Mamta Banerjee won seats and CPIM received a major blow.
More, the voters who play an important role in the formation of government (voters hailing from the rural India) have nothing to do with the Indo-US Nuclear deal, they want prices of essential commodities to come down. Neither they have any sense and knowledge of iInternational diplomacy nor they are bothered about the problems, which will have to be faced by the next government at the iInternational level if this historic Nuclear deal with US fails in getting materialised.
Now we have LK Advani as the candidate for next Prime Minister from the BJP side. Whom will the Congress project as its Prime Ministerial candidate? Will it be Dr Manmohan Singh again? Or with the inflation going high, the Congress president and the UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi would play her trump card and project Rahul Gandhi as the next possible Prime Minister if the UPA wants to run the government at the Centre for the second consecutive term.
What will be the role of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati? Will she be just playing the role of a King maker, which possibly looks inevitable, or will she come forward as a strong contender for the 7, Race Course Road? What are the prospects of a Third Front? Is there any leader who can convince the partners and believers of the Third front, which once came into existence for keeping both the BJP and the Congress out of power, and which became the reason for ouster of the then Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and HD Deve Gowda became the Prime Minister.
LK Advanis image as a Hindu hardliner leader doesnt get him support from the other so called secular political parties, something which Atalji enjoyed. His remarks over Jinnah are still fresh in the minds of Hindus and the partys unkept promise of building the Ram temple at Ayodhya when they ruled at the Centre, has annoyed a vast majority of Hindus, especially the Sadhu samaj.

Who will be Indian teams Next Coach? Who will be India's Next President? Who Will be USA's next President?
Who will be Indian teams Next Coach? Who will be India's Next President? Who Will be USA's next President?
Those who have been following BCCI's moves for selecting the next coach, will think what exactly is going on behind the scenes. Does BCCI really know more cricket than the public common sense? Who is Graham Ford? Just because John Wright gave a good result with the Indian Cricket Team does not mean that he was solely responsible for the good things.
While watching the debate of the president candidates of USA on TV, One often wonders what kind of preparation has gone into the making of the next possible US President.
Coming back to India, the confusion of who exactly will succeed President Dr Abdul Kalam is still not clear.
But one thing is very clear is that, following the exit of ex-prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the declining popularity of Lal Krishna Advani in the BJP, in my limited opinion, I can safely bet that Sushma Swaraj is going to be the Prime Minister in India.
Maybe Hillary Clinton will be the next President of USA.
The only wish I have is that they don't mess up their individual personality influence the way they rule the country. ;-)
And what is with Celebraties getting caught with Drugs? Getting caught in India, its okay, they can come out because the implementation of the law has still a long way to go. But Why Get Caught in Dubai? This should come to an end very soon. Drug Abuse is bad, getting caught is a heinous crime. Why are these people forgiven by the public ?
